RESOLVED - xDSL Intermittent Connectivity

We have become aware of a loss of service to a large number of ADSL/SDSL lines around 10:10am today.

A fair quantity of lines are re-authenticating and dropping quite regularly and although continually returning to service, we have noted various lines where this is a recurring issue.

We have raised issue with the supplier who is investigating the issue as I type.

*** UPDATE 12:36 ***

We have been advised that due to a core network issue, the provider is routing all traffic away from Telehouse to Telecity while they address the underlying issue.

This will return stability and not affect end user service.

We await further information on the fuller resolution.

*** RESOLVED ***

We have been advised that the underlying issue has been addressed and the Telehouse handoffs will be re-enabled in the dead of the night.
