Resolved - Partial FTP Service Outage

Good afternoon.

It has come to our attention that one of our FTP servers servicing approximately 30 web servers has failed to restart successfully after a Windows Update.

No amount of coaxing has brought this back to life and unfortunately the updates will not roll back.

We are at present building a replacement server from scratch, with hardware in place and Windows images presently being installed. Once this is complete, there is a substantial data restore to complete as this server also houses file data for certain customers.

At present we are unsure of a completion time, but a very rough ETA is 7pm today.

Apologies for the inconvenience, although this should only mean that you are unable to update your websites, and the sites themselves are functioning as expected.

The FTP Server and service is now fully restored and all files are back in place. We can only apologise for the inconvenience caused, and wish you all a pleasant New Year.
